Terms of Use for NOVACOM Vortex Systems
The NOVACOM Vortex systems are designed to operate optimally with dry, clean, and filtered compressed air. However, certain non-compliant usage conditions can impair the device's performance, reduce its cooling efficiency, or cause premature wear of some internal components.
Compressed air quality
Poor quality compressed air is one of the main causes of malfunction. The air used must be free of:
- oil (notably from lubricated compressors),
- excessive moisture,
- solid particles (dust, debris, shavings).
Unfiltered air can clog internal ducts, saturate the insulating foam, obstruct exhaust ports, and lead to decreased efficiency. Although the components are made of aluminum or stainless steel — thus not prone to oxidation —, these contaminations hinder the proper functioning of the Vortex generator.
To prevent this, it is recommended to install an appropriate filtration system:
- particle filter,
- coalescing filter,
- air dryer.
Supply network configuration
The design of the compressed air network must also be optimized. The following errors can cause pressure drops and insufficient inlet pressure:
- 90° elbows in series,
- long flexible hoses,
- uncontrolled diameter reductions.
These elements limit the flow necessary for the system's optimal operation. It is advised to:
- reduce the length of the pipes,
- use straight fittings,
- maintain a dynamic pressure in accordance with recommendations (6 to 7 bars).
Responsibility and recommendations
NOVACOM cannot be held responsible for damages related to non-compliant use or inadequate compressed air supply. For any maintenance, adaptation, or replacement, spare parts and accessories can be offered upon request.
By following these recommendations, you ensure reliable and durable operation of your NOVACOM Vortex system.
