NOVACOM BSA Back Blow-off air nozzle
High-performance cleaning of pipes, tubes and ducts using compressed air.
NOVACOM BSABack Blow-off air nozzle are designed for industrial cleaning operations requiring strong blowing power and automatic progression inside conduits, tubes, ducts or pipelines.
Thanks to their rear-facing orifices, they simultaneously generate a cleaning effect and a propulsion force that helps them move through hard-to-reach areas.
Available in several diameters and materials, BSA nozzles are an effective solution for removing dust, chips, residues, liquids and other contaminants present in industrial networks.
Operating principle
The BSA nozzle is equipped with several rear-facing orifices. When supplied with compressed air or water, depending on the model, the jets create a thrust that naturally drives the nozzle through the pipe while loosening and evacuating contaminants present on the walls.
Unlike amplifying-effect nozzles, the BSA nozzle directly concentrates the energy of the fluid to achieve high cleaning power.

* NOTE: The measurements presented in this technical data sheet were carried out in a laboratory, in a strictly controlled environment. It is important to note that conditions in a real industrial environment may differ and that pressure instability from an industrial compressor may result in values different from those obtained in the laboratory. These data are provided for information purposes only. To achieve optimum performance from the back blow-off air nozzle, we recommend using a compressed-air supply hose with a minimum internal diameter of 8 mm.

This technology makes it possible to:
- ensure automatic progression inside pipes;
- improve cleaning efficiency;
- evacuate deposits and residues;
- reduce manual interventions;
- speed up maintenance operations.

Advantages of BSA back blow-off air nozzle
Automatic propulsion:
the rear-facing jets generate thrust that helps the nozzle move forward inside pipes.
Enhanced cleaning:
the power of the jets makes it possible to loosen and efficiently evacuate contaminants present in pipelines.
Reduced intervention time:
cleaning is faster and requires less manual handling.
Optimised air consumption:
the efficiency of the rear jet makes it possible to use compressed air in a more targeted way during cleaning operations.
Simplified maintenance:
the reduction of manual interventions improves operator safety and limits downtime.
Construction
NOVACOM BSA back blow-off air nozzle are available in several diameters and materials to suit different types of pipes and industrial environments.
- Aluminium or stainless steel body depending on the model
- Stainless steel version available for demanding environments
- Good corrosion resistance
- Several diameters available
- Robust design for industrial use
Use with compressed air or water
Depending on the model, BSA nozzles can operate with compressed air or water.
- Compressed air: blowing, drying, cleaning and residue evacuation.
- Water: pipe cleaning and maintenance operations, mainly on compatible stainless steel models.
This versatility makes it possible to adapt the solution to the type of contaminant to be removed and to the constraints of the industrial site.
Operating conditions
Pressure ranges and technical characteristics vary depending on the selected model.
To ensure the best performance:
- use a clean fluid;
- respect the recommended pressures;
- select the diameter suitable for the pipe;
- check material compatibility according to the environment;
- follow the installation and safety instructions.
Safety of use
Like any pressure cleaning equipment, BSA nozzles require compliance with the applicable safety rules.
It is recommended to:
- wear suitable personal protective equipment;
- protect yourself against particle or liquid projections;
- maintain a sufficient safety distance;
- never direct the jet towards a person;
- follow the site operating procedures.
Application examples
Industrial pipe cleaning:
removal of deposits present in production, transfer or evacuation pipes.
Chip evacuation:
movement of chips and residues in pipework or industrial equipment.
Technical duct cleaning:
intervention in long or hard-to-access ducts thanks to the propulsion force.
Pipe drying:
evacuation of residual water after washing or maintenance.
